Remedial Instruction
There is no finer
program for remedial writing instruction than Write Well, Write Now. Our program is ideal for any high school
student who can use a computer and who reads at least at the 3rd
grade reading level.

Scaffolded Instruction
|
| |
Students begin learning at their instructional level – no lower, and no
higher. All instruction is provided in tiny "slices" to ensure that
students master a concept before moving on.
We do not waste student time, however. Once a student can
demonstrate a concept in his or her writing, we expect them to continue to
demonstrate their proficiency and move on! Should a student become
lax or forget a concept, we will go back and support and reinforce it until
they have achieved true mastery.

Private
|

Students can work at their own pace without embarrassment. Each
student is paired one-on-one with a credentialed mentor teacher who understands
their learning needs. When we remove the "embarrassment factor" we
find that students are free to make rapid progress forward!

High Expectations
|
| |
There are gifts in every child. We have high expectations of our
students. We at Write Well, Write Now firmly believe that we can
meet each child's needs, build a rational for learning, create a sense of
urgency and excitement, and then we support, support, support our students as
they learn and grow.

Effective
|
| |
Our students make progress because they work through multiple channels to
master their learning tasks: They read, write, reflect, are
critiqued, then revise their work over and over until they master their
topics. Your students are assigned lessons on that week's learning
concept, read the colorful lessons, and take practice quizzes as many times as
they need to pass the quiz (80% is passing at Write Well, Write Now).
Each week, we expect our students to apply their learning from the previous
weeks' work into their current writing products. By having high
expectations, a solid learning program, one-on-one coaching, and a way to track
student progress across time, we've developed a program that does what it sets
out to do: It teaches your students how to write!
