California
High
School
Exit Exam (CAHSEE)
This
test is THE test that decides if a student graduates high school with a diploma,
or receives a certificate that says, "I warmed a seat for four years." There are controversies surrounding the test,
including whether students with serious learning disabilities should be held to
the same graduation standards as students without.
Nevertheless,
the test is here and it's here to stay. Administrators reading this page already know a great deal about this
test, so we won't pound you with excessive information. However, we will tell you what Write Well,
Write Now can do to help your students pass the writing portion (and the rest of
the language arts portion) of the CAHSEE.

Intensive Instruction is Required
|
| |
Students who are having difficulty passing the California High School Exit Exam
need extensive long-term instruction in writing and language arts.
There is no shortcut for good old-fashioned hard work and effort, nor is there
a shortcut for time.
Classroom teachers are already pressed to (and beyond) their
limits. It is unbelievably difficult for a classroom teacher to work
with each of 120 or more students individually. Wait…it's
impossible. No one has that kind of time in a 5 – 6 hour school
day.

10-Week Long Supplemental Classes
|
| |
We offer 10-week long supplemental classes online at an amazing price.
All of our private educational programs (save for our 6-month long private
tutoring program) are only 8 weeks long. We have increased that
amount to 10 weeks for public school students when a school registers a minimum
of 10 students all starting at the same date.

 |
Writing and Reading
|
| |
Both writing and reading skills are supported. Our lessons are
designed to be no longer than two pages long, written on a single element of
writing, and are written at the 9th grade readability level (the same level of
the questions on the CAHSEE). Students are not intimidated by the
lessons and have unlimited opportunities to take the multiple choice practice
sessions before being tested with a similar quiz. They have
multiple opportunities to take each quiz in order to pass.
