The Write Well, Write Now USA SAT 1-Day Writing Instruction course is perfect for high school students who do not have the time to take our 8-week course, or who have signed up late for their SATs, or who are already confident writers, but would benefit from specific, guided instruction in SAT written test-taking techniques.

The Write Well, Write Now USA 1-Day Course covers every element of the SAT written section and allows students time to practice four different SAT written practice tests with feedback and in-person instruction. 

This fast-paced, upbeat course gives immediate information and assistance to students and helps build confidence and SAT writing skills in a supportive, professional environment.   

How is the Course Structured?

During the 6 hour course, students learn all elements of SAT writing:  Appropriate essay structure, the dos and don'ts of SAT essay writing, how to self-correct their papers, how to quickly make a point and drive it home with a references to historical, literary, and personal events, how to punch up their essays with appropriate vocabulary, and how to handle tough situations, like receiving a prompt about which they know little.

Our aim is to give students test taking confidence by allowing them to write four different SAT essays on four carefully developed, broadly divergent topics thus increasing the chances that they will "hit" a similar topic on their actual SATs.
